Tour guide was fantastic through the caves, saw so many amazing crystals. The thermal pool was exceptional, went swimming in it while raining. MUST VISIT!!!

The place itself is absolutely beautiful, worth the drive. But we were unlucky to have a very inexperienced guide and an extremely over booked tour (22 adults and 10 kids!!) the guide was 30 minutes late, consistently said "I don't know" or "I'm not sure" - had absolutely no idea where any of the light boxes were or how they worked, regardless of the fact they were labelled. She was unable to answer any of the questions asked and after we went into the self guided tour I felt like I learned more there than with the guide. It really ruined our experience as it was difficult not to focus on her lack of knowledge. We expected more on a public holiday. With the right guide this place would be incredible. We went to the pool first when it was 0 degrees outside, it was not bath temperature but comfortable considering it was such a cold morning. Was an awesome experience seeing the steam from the water in the atmosphere. Challenging Walk back out, but well worth.

This place can very magical really , However the National Parks greed for over pricing the walks in the caves is very disappointing. I was there few days ago, probably the first to arrive for the day. I asked how long one of the cave walks was as I had limited time in the area.

I went back to main office to ask for directions out of the park as I felt disappointed wanting to leave, and all though i was the only visitor so far that morning they had forgotten i was just there and had already purchased a ticket
